Heading To Deep Creek, MD

Haven't been to Deep Crick for about 20 years, but it a place I really liked when we used to go there. Looking forward to a 3 day weekend there this weekend. We were lucky to get a place on short notice at the Wisp Resort. Somebody had just cancelled right before my wife called.

Well Deep Creek is still a very nice lake, but it sure has changed in the 20+ years it's been since I have been there. Way more docks and way too many boats and PWC's. On Saturday the water was choppy because of the wind, but we were out quite a bit. On Sunday the weather was perfect, but the water was even more choppy because of the number of boats on the water.
We didn't go out much at all. I don't like to drive with my head on a swivel becuase there are boat all around me. I bet most any place would have been crowded yesterday and today though. Next time I go to Deep Creek, it will be during the week. It's a great lake.
