Does anyone know the torque sequence for the head bolts on my 235 evinrude

Yep..... It's 18 to 20 foot pounds in the following sequence.

13...14
9....10
5.....6
1.....2
4.....3
8.....7
12...11

o offense, but how can you work on the internals of a power head and not have a manual of some type?

Most every head sequence is a spiral starting at the middle bolt going straight across and at 18-20 ft lbs Hmmmmmm my manual is 20-22 lbs but I would go with Joe's 18-20

You have to turn your head sideways but you will get the idea ;)

Thanks guys and as far as the manual goes i just got the boat not long ago and i really don't know where to get one. Up to this point i pretty much been holding my own.Y ou wouldn't believe what i have done so far with out one although i know i need to get one sooner then later.
