Does anyone know what ft lbs to torque the heads on a 91 70 horse 2 cylinder
nissan, and maybe the torquing pattern. I'm having to use the old head gasket because believe it or not they don't make parts anymore for these. It's the last time I buy a boat that doesn't have an American motor on it.

Silly attitude to have, but the setting is 26 foot lbs. Every manufacturer stops having spare parts avaialble for discontinued models at some point. On your model: waterpump housings, head gaskets and most lower unit parts are now by the wayside. I agree it sucks, but it's no different with Evinrude and Mercury.
