Having some issues with Serial on my 35 hp.

Hey all,

Looking for a manual to figure out some wiring for my motor and to lock at some general parts and pricing. Picked up this 35hp merc to put on my 14' mckee, and the serial number dosent seem to register anywhere...

Anyways, serial number on the tag looks like it is 0C159255 or OC159255. is anyone able to direct me to what year this maybe? Also, i believe it is oil injected. anyone know of a good walk through to delet the oil injection?

Looks to be an 1989 MERCURY 35 ELPTO. Here's a parts catalog for it,
