Well my motor isn't wanting to idle so I tore apart the carb to give it a good cleaning and saw that a little rod seemed to be bent. I have no idea what it is so I'll just post some pictures. I was just wondering if this is normal?

You may want to stick with one post as it's less confusing.

What you see in the middle sticking up is the fuel pickup tubes. The Larger one is the high speed and the smaller is the low speed. Both look normal to me.

"Well my motor isn't wanting to idle"

In that case, be sure to remove the welsh plug (the shiny round blank to the right of the pickup tubes in your picture) to ensure that the idle transition ports are clear. Use an ice pick (are you old enough to know what that is?) to gently pierce the plug and pry out. Clean the ports with a wire and high pressure air.

Regarding the offset of the metering tubes....I've never seen one that was centered!
