Are all you MidWesterners tired of the winter? Do you easterners have enough SNOW. Is that whats bothering you bunky. Well come to the Pacific NW we have bloomin Cherry trees in bloom, early Rhodes. and the Tulip and Narcissis fields will be a few weeks early. I mowed my lawn today. Miss you all on the web site but you may be snowed in. One more day and the old Starcraft is ready for summer. Ready for spring with a good wash Hope you are all doing well and have suffered no damage. Hell of a winter your way. Took the kicker plate off and remounted the motor to the org. transom, to far back to be usefull. Stay warm and enjoy the Olympics. there only 50 miles away but better and warmer to watch on the big screen.

It's a balmy 25 here in lower Michigan today.Ice fishing is hot though! I wouldn't trade Michigan for anything. I'll be honest with you, if spring doesn't show up here soon, my head will blow up. I'm wanting to get on the boat and hit Lake St. Clair, but right now she's got 10" of ice on her.

I was going to post just to let everybody know I was still alive! Not much in the way of boating to do right now. I will pull the horn off my boat today and start restoring it. I'll just pull the tarp back and sweep the cherry blossoms of it. If I can even find the boat, the Tulips are 6 feet tall and have hidden the boat in a sea of gentle warm colors.

Hope everybody is well, winter will pass and we can start working on our boats again. I start soft water fishing in another 2-3 weeks, whether there is snow or not. The rivers will be flowing and something will be spawning, suckers, steelhead, or pike.

I am also alive and well, just stuck in snow. I guess the truth of it all is, nuttin I can do about it. I just stare out the window at the boat covered in a foot of snow and dream of warmer ( and drier ) weather. It will come, then I will complain about the heat. I see some with garages are making headway and I am jealous of them. But at least they post pics to keep my hopes alive. Thanks to all and hope everyone is well. Dale

FH, from Winchester I feel your pain! But at least I can drive a mile or so and meet up with the UPS man. Still ordering parts for the Mariner.

I still remember sanding and painting the Liquid Limo and hauling deisel for the redeye heater in this weather last year

Michigan has had a VERY light year for snow, this week we finally got enough to build my two boys a proper snow fort in the yard

And we are off to the sledding hill this afternoon. The boat needs to be worked on but gotta have priorities

We woke up to a balmy 10 celcius or 50 farenheit today up here on the north coast of BC , there are still winter springs in the harbour and some 25 -30 pounders have been caught recently and the rockfish and greenling , crabs and prawns etc are there for the taking, Im getting the motor ready to pull in the islander today to put the new transom/gimbal / bellhousing and sei 106 leg in most likely next weekend.

Gnarly Looks like a very nice shop you have . All weather set up, but that far North you probably need it. No snow? is that unusual??

Its pretty temperate here, not much different than Washington state as the warm air off the pacific keeps it warm & wet! We'll probably get a good dump of snow before old man winter's done but overall its been a very mild winter.

Boy, I'll say nice shop. Nicer floors then my wife's kitchen.

Drove down a piece of the south shore of Lake Erie today. Ice as far as the eye could see. Five days of snow in the forecast, temps in the 20's. So far baskeball and hockey with the boys has kept me occupied, but the cabin fever is building. I'm hoping for an early spring, but I'm still haunted by a trip I took to Milwaukee '08, to pick up a trailer of all things, when it snowed 24+ inches Easter weekend.

Yup, cabin fever is making me twitch! Though, when I was out yesterday morning I was thinking that I heard some spring time birds calling just as the sun was coming up. Imagination? Wishful thinking? Dunno, but it was sure nice thinking that spring was here for a second! Cheers!

Hi Everyone. BRRRRRRR. I wanted to work in the garage today, the list of things to do is still very long before I am ready to go on the lake. My garage is not insulted but I have a contracters heater that will only warm the garge enough if it is warmer then -10 C outside. This morning ir is -24 C. Can harly wait for spring. Stay warm everyone and lets get ready for soft water.

There are 20" of snow outside my window. I've had enough. Fortunately the boat project is in the garage and progress continues.
