Well it's getting time to get the boat out and clean her up for some winter fishing. Time to put the downriggers back on and stow away the wake board. Looks like it going to be a great winter to catch some big Rainbow and Brown Trout. I guess right about now most of you are fogging, draining, waxing and covering for the winter. I really feel for you. But seeing as how I'm a true southerner I'll leave an open invitation anytime for you northerners to come fishing with me anytime. :D
My web Site

Trollhole, great pics on your site! I'm right with you on fishing in the boat throughout the winter. Although some of the NM lakes do freeze (ice fishing is something that I do as well), I enjoy taking the boat out on other lakes and catching a nice mixture of fish: trout, kokanee, lake trout, bass, walleye,etc... Take it easy, MB :D

I'm going fishing this Sunday so I'll try to remember to take the camera. Would fish all weekend but I'm going to the Tarheel pig pickin in Shelby, NC this Friday to help my buddies try to win some money. Plus the wind is from the northwest Sat and fishing won't be any good. But Sunday is a different story with the wind from the west. As they say West is the best. South in the mouth. North and east suc*. :D
Jocasee Weather

Just got cool enough to break out the redfish rigs and start hammering the bull reds off the south jetty in PortA.I'll think about you guys in the cold country this fall every time I open my freezer door to store another load of 5 pound fillets.Maybe ya'll can all come down and we'll run a fishing regatta and Stevie can cast net for finger mullet.

Sorry MellowYellow. 6" of snow this early bites. Temps are below normal here too. I had a bublling cauldron for halloween last night. I left the water in and it is frozen this morning. There is one lake here that never freezes. it is the cooling lake for the power plant. I want to try some fishing there this fall but it seems like winter is coming early. So much to do so little time. I need to take up ice fishing.

Hey guys I lived in Diboll Texas for 12 years before moving here. We used to go fishing on lake Sam Raburn. Used to catch a lot of bass. Wondering if it was still a good lake to fish in. I loved East Texas. :D
