I haven't personally, but I did have a friend of mine that was trying to start a brewery. I know he was looking to raise $35000.00, and hit his goal in about a month. His brewery is now open on the north side of Atlanta. Myself and another friend of mine pledged $500 apiece in exchange for our names on his "wall of founders" and some other beer-related perks. I've seen a bunch of interesting ideas go into production which originated on the Kickstarter site.
