Has anybody tried motorized lures?

I know that making a motorized lure is going to be nearly impossible, especially not having the right equipment.

I've been tempted to buy these Chuck Woolery Moto lures just to see what they would do. I feel that if I get them and they work that I might be cheating a little, I'm not a pro fisherman. For those that don't know what I'm talking about just google Chuck Woolery lures.

Anyhow......

Anybody ever try these moto lures?
Are they worth the money?

It's only worth the money if you can see it working in a situation you have difficulty fishing in with other lures.

Personally, what I think are the neatest lures in my box are the most worthless. Basic hook and a minnow get you as many if not more bites than a replica. Just depends on how you fish. I've get to do will fishing with plastic worms, yet my brother does very well with them.

I certainly won't knock them, I bet ol Chuck gets out fishing a heckuva lot more often than I do. :D

A couple years ago i bought my first go bobber. Boat was in the shop and I was bank fishn. Was battery operated and would go where ever ya wanted it to go.

I still have it but my boat is in service again. A different toy to say the least.

Pure gimmickry. Waste of money. Seriously.

Get some real lures, learn to use them, and go fishing.

I guess I'll just leave the moto lure alone. I do good with the lures that I have, and I do good with some of the lures that I make. Past few times out on the water the fish had lock jaw it wasn't a good time to test my homemades out. None of us caught any keepers, only caught a total of 4 bass within 5 outings or so.

Also noticed alot of dead stipe in the lake , don't know what's up with that. I scooped one 3 pounder up in my net, it was just swimming on top of the water, that was a big mistake, it smelled bad.

Well I'll continue to make my own lures.

Thanks for the replys.
