Re: has a lean to it

I would say so. I drove 300 miles to buy the boat, they said trailer had been serviced. Pulled in to the first truck stop and checked things out felt the hubs everything seamed fine. Pulled in to the house late around ten pm and that is what I found. Contact the dealer he is covering coast of all repair parts. Just have to wait for them to come in, and install myself. At least I know they will be serviced rite this time.

The boat/trailer I bought was so bad that the grease seals had been pounded so bad they had no rubber seal lip left. Just grease seals that had the rubber pounded out from bearings being so loose.

They had bailing wire in place of cotter pins. Save me please. I am just glad I did not know this when I drove it 30 miles home. Ignorance is bliss.

About 15 yrs ago , I went out and bought a used boat/motor/trailer and drove it about two miles to my house...about a block away from my house , I started hearing a rotational clunking noise , so i immediatley pulled over to check it out...walked around the trailer, and discovered two of the four lug nuts on one wheel had fallen off, and the other two were LOOSE !...needless to say, I had a HOLY **** ! moment...Iwas sure glad I pulled over to see what was the matter !

Re: has a lean to it

I bought new wheel/tires as well as new hubs/bearings and lugnuts to take care of my little problem. I believe all of it was original..........that would make them all 24 years old!
