The local gas stations here on long island are now selling gas with 10% methanol .<br />I checked the Nissan manual and they say do not use any gas with more then 5% methanol in it and go on to detail all the damages possible including destroying the piston and cylinder and various other problems including all rubber parts.<br />I have not checked all the other local stations yet, so I do not know if they are all going to 10% methanol.<br />Does anyone have knowledge of this problem?<br />We live in the new york long island area, and are presently paying about $3.10 for gas that can ruin all our equipment, thanks a lot big oil!<br />Bill
