Hello,
I just purchased a replacement transducer cable for mounting on my bowmount for my humminbird 200dx.I noticed after the purchase there were no wires terminated to the seven pin t2 terminals on this unit. The xt-6-20-t has the seven pin configuration with temp capabilities I can't return the transducer so I was looking to hardwire this into the 200dx. my previous transducer depth finder only terminated to a white and green wire 2pin terminal t. The other ( a) terminal that I believe was for the temp sensor has a red, black, yellow, and brown. To make a long story short my stubborness is getting the best of me so if anyone has any input on hardwiring this transducer to this unit your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,Troy

Best and easiest thing to do is buy the converter cable. It is about $25. I assume you are tryin to splice in your 2 pin connector to the new transducer. I don't think I have the pin out for that transducer, but could come up with a decent guess based on the ones I have. While you refer to 7-pin connector, how many actual pins are in the cable? My guess is there are only 3.

Thanks for the reply. There are seven separate pins on the cable. A row of three in the center and 2 rows of two on the outsides. I believe the center pin is ground and by trial and error i got it to pass the diagnostic test after temping it up. I haven't had any luck finding the converter cable that goes from the seven to two pin. I probably try splicing in the cable this weekend and see how she functions on the water.thanks for your input.

Here is the converter cable I thought you needed: http://store.humminbird.com/products/323050/AD_926

I originally thought you flipped a digit. I thought you meant XTM-9-20T: http://store.humminbird.com/products/314022/XTM_9_20_T

If that IS what you have, I am surprised it has 7 male pins. HB usually doesn't put unused pins on their transducer cables. All my SI transducers only have 5 of the 7 possible pins.

If you didn't mistype and it is an XTM-6-20T, this may be a very unique transducer. HB had some early 3D units (Wide 3D Paramount & Vista) that had 6 elements in the transducer. This would have 7 pins. I do not have a pin out of that, and it probably will not work well on that 200dx. I think the 6 elements on those transducers were all 455khz, and the 200dx wants a 200kHz one. If this is what you have, recommend selling and purchasing the correct one.
