hard starting merc 100hp

I have a 1992 merc 100hp every time i try to start it i got to push the key in. once it starts it runs good but when i stop and shut off the engine i got to push the key in to start it again. what should i check. is there a adjustment to fix this.

Sounds like the idle mixture is a little lean, try to richen them 1/4 turn
