Dave - thanks to you and the Admiral for your service.

I get to work with Vets quite a bit, and come out of a USAF family. I'm always impressed by and enjoy working with our US Vets - I learn so much, and see so much pride (in the good sense of the word).

God bless 'em all.

Dear Veterans,
Thank-you for your service and sacrifices for our great country. You have not only protected our freedoms, but freedom for people around the world. You have risked everything. Your sacrifice affected your families and friends, but you were still willing to go. Thank-you just doesn't seem sufficient. Today, and everyday, we remember the cost of our freedoms. Thank-you for your service.

Go to your local VA facility and see if they need any volunteers. My GF and I volunteer at the local one near the UCLA campus through the UCLA volunteer center.

Thanks to my dad who was in the navy after college, my uncle who was a Lt Col in the air force and his sons who were in combat.

Here is my uncle. Following pics are a f-104 and U2. He flew an F4 in Vietnam.

Thank you all Veterans for protecting our freedom!

My Uncle was a Paratrooper in the 101st Airborne in Vietnam. He was instrumental in having a memorial placed at the Heartland of America Park in Omaha. I was proud to visit with him and visit the memorial with him a few years ago. He was able to get back to the park this week.

My Grandma supported by riveting near Offutt AFB Nebraska. I'll always remember all of the USO stationary that she had when I was a young kid.

On this day when we remember and celebrate all those veterans who have served I personally want to thank each and every one of you.
I also want to remember and thank all who are currently serving.
Past and present your efforts have kept our country free.

I want to remember my Great-Great Grandfather who fought in the Union Army during the Civil War.
My Great Grandfather also fought in the Union Army during the Civil War.
My Grandfather was in the United States Army Artillery during WWI.
Our Dad was a WWII and Korean War vet. When he passed we found among his belongings 2 purple hearts, a Phillippines Service medal, a POW medal and last but not least a Navy Cross. We don't know what he did to be awarded our nations second highest award but we are all grateful for his service.
To all our vets THANK YOU.

My uncle won't tell me how high the U2 flies either.
Both those birds he flew are in the elite category. The Starfighter was a difficult airplane to fly well. That's an impressive resume.

He flew a lot of different planes. I just listed a few. He has an award in the Smithsonian air and space museum for the work he did with the U2

Neat guys who have that kind of career in airplanes. I always enjoy listening to 'em when they tell you what they can. Way cool :thumb:
