Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable long weekend. Time to visit with friends and family, eat drink and eat some more. Be safe if you are travelling.

In America millions of turkey are voraciously digested during the celebration of Thanksgiving.

What is the meat most favoured by Canadians at their Thanksgiving table?

Turkey is baking, potatoes are boiling, pumpkin pies are baked, lots of cranberries and football (Jets vs Bucks) on the TV, life is good!

AND, plan to do it all again in NOV. -- the value of a two country family.

Does that kick off your Christmas season too?

Went to Lowes Saturday to pick up some topsoil and fertilizer... had to stumble past all the Christmas trimmings in the isle to get out the door. They sure do know how to ruin the holidays.... it's still 3 weeks to Halloween!

I know what you mean Kagee. Several stores around here were taking down the summer stuff and putting out Christmas decorations just after labour day. We need to buy our winter clothing now because the summer stuff for next year will be out by January.
