Historically growing up in North Eastern WI, the local rock station WAPL would play Arlo Guthrie's Alices Restaurant in all of its glory at noon on Turkey day.

Since 1500 miles is a bit of a challenge to receive even 100,000 watts of radio....

im posting it here for my boating peeps to enjoy.

LOL ... never saw 'em in concert, but I've let the beard grow out while listening to the song a few times

2020 has been a pretty crumby year: Started it out by burying Dad, and I'm closing it out (so far) by losing an uncle I was pretty tight with. With that and the pandemic (my business is pretty decimated), it seems like a total write-off.

But, I had a few minutes to sit quietly yesterday morning and realized that I'm still surviving financially, I gained a son in law, my boy is launched at USAF and doing well (been able to talk with him twice). There are some really good things happening as well. I have plenty to be thankful for even in this lousy year

Y'all have a happy Thanksgiving and look for those bright spots.

Happy Thanksgiving, to all celebrating it today. I am just getting over a really bad case of COVID-19, so I’m happy just to be here, even if I still can’t taste or smell anything. My wife had a mild case, for which I’m even more thankful.

May you all have nothing worse to worry about than some tight pants this evening!
