I remember one of my engineering professors who was also a good friend and a first class sailboat racer telling me that 355 divided by 113 is as close as you can get with whole numbers. In the shipfitter shop we used to use 22/7 in the days before calculators and that was close enough for making pipe straps and brackets.

Guess I have to fess up. I just came back to this thread and realized my number is wrong. It was a c&p but somehow every 5th number after the decimal is missing.
