Thanks guys. So far it's been a good one. Rain here all day so no time on the lake, but maybe tomorrow if it's clear. The Admiral made me a strawberry shortcake this year so no orange icing. I'm gonna have steak later to finish off a great day.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

The years are flying by. Seems like only yesterday I was a young airman with two little ones running around. Now they're both in college and my stepson is a senior in high school. Makes 44 seem kind of old.

It does go by fast. I'm in roughly the same stage. Though I told the Admiral, now it's back to just the two of us ... but this time we have money

I've had a good day. Spent most of it goofing off at the flea market with the Admiral. ( We like to people watch while searching for more junk to fill the hanger.) Spoke to my mom in Texas. Had dinner with my dad and stepmom. Now back home enjoying a cold beverage and some homemade cake. Got birthday calls and texts from sibblings, friends, and kids ( They both live in Mn. )
Even my 17 yearold stepson who thinks everyone over 25 is old and senile got me a nice card.

All in all a good birthday. I appreciate all the people here on the forum. Always lots of good information and some amazing projects.
