Thanks, gang! It has been a slow day ... started by going to see a friends new boat ... a Robalo 246 with a Johnnyrude 300 ... sweet boat! Hasn’t hit the water yet. I tried to convince him it would make a great b-day present for me, and he agreed, it would make a nice present ... just not from him or his boat!

Then to the nursing home to have a meeting with the nurses and spend some time with mom before heading to the oldest daughter’s to play with the grandkids.

Now home to make supper for the fam and take a nap... rough life ... no cake though. A friend promised me a strawberry lemonade cake, but on Tuesday the door to her oven exploded ... so there went the cake, unless I make it ...

Oven exploded! I thought only files and hacksaw blades were baked in cakes. Did she use nitroglycerin instead of vegetable oil? LOL

It was from all of the candles.

She wasn't baking my cake yet ... just warming their supper in the oven and when she opened the door the glass shattered all over the inside of the oven and kitchen. It was a year and a half old oven. The warranty repair people were coming today to look at it.
