Just thought I would mention, have a wonderful and safe boating weekend. This should be my last post until either Sunday or Monday. Tonight getting the boat ready for a weekend on the water. Tomorrow boating all day, watching the fireworks from the Manatee River just West of the Green Bridge. going to be close enough that we may catch some debris from the fireworks again. Then going to stay on the hook until at least 1am to allow the crazies to get off the water prior to heading back to the boat launch.

Thanks! Sounds like you've got a great weekend coming up.

We were on my brother's and his friend's boats on Lake Mead last week, will be on my boat on the Upper Niagara River/Lake Erie tonight, then up to Big Moose Lake in the Adirondacks this weekend on our little boats up there.

Never enough boating...

Did something a little different this year - - headed out to the lake about 6PM, and cruised and swam for a couple hours. We were going to try to see La Vergne, TN's fireworks from the water ... but the local subdivisions had so many ad-hoc shots going off, we couldn't tell which was which. Over about 5 miles of shoreline, and for a bout 1.5 miles inbound to the ramp, we just watched the sky light up. Pretty cool.

Hope y'all had a good one.
