Happy 2012 Canadian GOBBLE GOBBLE Day!!!

Well here we go again, Thanks giving weekend for us Canadian types.

This year we got-
Turkey with stuffing
Cranberries (jellied)
Mashed spuds and gravy
An awesome brocolli casserole

Salad, that I will have no room for!!

And pumpkin pie with ice cream!

MMMM, breakfast is over and the cooking/prep begins-onions and garlic etc starting the stuffing MMMMMM


Gotta add brussel sprouts to the menu and a new bottle of wine from the winery down the road to boot!!

Wasn't always that way. For many years way back when, it was in April. Then moved to October, and then to a Thursday in November. Then it was the Monday before Remembrance Day on the 11th of November. Then in 1957 it got nailed down to be the second Monday in October.
