Spinner my guess is he had the hammer put down at work. He always posted from there. There was no contraversial posts at all, it's like he pulled the plug.

I hope that's all and nothing more serious. I miss me buddy! He's missed EE gettin his boat and everything. :(

Yeah KG... I was inquiring about him as well. He always used to give me a hard time about my lack of boat... and now that I have one I wanted to give it back to him :D

Sean

errrrrrr, if you mean this:
quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Originally posted by JB:
NYM.

Their "contributions" stop at the limit. . . I think it is about $100K.

Their benefits are based only on the portion of their income that was taxed by FICA.

Either way, I think that SS benefits should be limited to those who need it. If someone has over, say $50K, from other sources I don't think they should draw SS benefits at all.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks JB. Our new governor has proposed a 1% increase on income for filers over $100,000.00 for 1 year to ease the states deficit. I wonder if AARP would support increased withholding on earnings over $100,000. and up the ante at each $100,000. increment. That would give the SS system a shot of relief.

That was on January 26th. but from last year. :p

Yup, that's the second time heycods has caught me with that routine. This time he even told you in his post something about a year later. Sneaky little Mutley . . .
