I know you used to be an exterminator.
I have a question. We have LOTS of tiny ants, someone said they were sugar ants, in our area. With the EXTREME COLD of Northern CA (about 50F) and the rain, they are looking for food inside our house and building at work. What are some successful stopping agents to use. I don't want to put down a lot of pesticide. I have a dog and two cats to worry about also. I can't put down stuff along the outside of the house (rainy season) also due to the crawlspace is a dirt floor. The house is about 50 years old and has LOTS of entries for the ants. It also belongs to the AF, so I can't make major changes.

I have heard that baking soda or cinammon works, but was curious. Any ideas??

AK Chappy
