I have a 1984 26ft. nordic with a 290AQ (350)with a 280 outdrive. I believe that the 290 which is stock only puts out 225hp how much hp will the outdrive handle and what would the easiest way to achieve that much hp gain? Do hydrofoils really work and has anyone out there mounted one on a 280 outdrive?
