Capt. Rich reports that the Viking Starship had perfect weather this weekend but fishing was a pick the whole trip, quality fish not quantity. They ended up with about 40 Grouper up to 30lbs, Snapper up to 8lbs. and Amberjack to 35lbs. They caught and released two Goliath Groupers, one about 250lbs. and the other around 80lbs. Also caught and released many American Red Snappers.<br /><br />Tony Muia, of Sheepheads Bay, NY, took the Grouper pool with a 26 pounder. Other pool winners were Lee Tinter, with a 9.7lb. Mangrove Snapper; and Rick Dittman of Tampa, FL with a 42lb. Amberjack.<br /><br />(EDIT: Sorry Fleet. Solicitation and advertising are not allowed.<br /><br />Thanks for the report, though.
