Re: Guitar Gurus

Probably not worth too awful much, but' HEY! it's worth whatever someone would pay for it..... Right? Who knows?

I'm not really into the going prices on used or "vintage" guitars so I don't know what it's worth.. Buy all mine new and play them untill their just right or "vintage" as some might say... :D

I did poke around online a little... Came across this, might help, I dunno?.. http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/Data4/Epiphone/FT-160-12-String-01.html

Thanks snapper.
I seen that site earlier this evening.

I have a guy after me bad to sell him this one.
As close as I can figure with the serial number and all, it was made around 1962 but you can't tell it by looking at it.

Played with a '69 Fender Strat. on our weekend over to Pender Island. It was really cool, worn but it sounded beautiful.
I play the drums, my guitar playing sounds like one falling down a flight of stairs :)

Re: Guitar Gurus

I have a USA made Guild solid body electric that I can't seem to find any info on. Does anyone know where I might look? I also am looking for a tuner gear cover (looks like a small freeze plug) for this guitar. the serial # is HC1000XX.

Re: Guitar Gurus

Nice vintage guitar!

I've had a few various guitars over the years (been playing about 30 years or so). I still miss my old Italian made "Contessa" hollow body jazz guitar that I had a long time ago. That was a sweet guitar. But stupidly, I sold it years ago.

I have two acoustic guitars (Yamaha 12 string, Takamine 6 string), my beloved Fender strat, and a customized, hot-rodded, Ibanez (SG copy). Other instruments include: my Grandmother's antique violin, an old mandolin, my childhood trumpet, my trombone, an old clarinet, and a Yamaha programmable drum machine. My twin daughters have flutes, another clarinet, an alto sax, and whatever instrument they are playing in the high school band/jazz band/marching band that year!

Come on over and join in. We have all the instruments! :D

Butch
