I rewired with a kit and everything checks out with the meter but nothing lights up. Is there something I'm missing with my ground having the PVC guide ons and the lights mounted to those instead of the metal trailer?

Yes..the thing you are missing is your ground. Lights get grounded through the mounting studs.

can I just run a ground to the trailer frame on each stud? Also, do I have to ground on separate points on the trailer on can I terminate the ground on the same bolt for both stud grounds?

can't believe it took me this long to get anywhere on it! Thanks.

Ayuh,....

You can daisy chain them anyway you'd like,......
As long as each bulb has a Complete Circuit.......

Re: ground question with lights on PVC

in my case any stud worked for a ground, never thought I'd be so happy to see 4 lights in my life.

Now that I put them up high I better not have to mess with them for a long long time, otherwise it was definitely not worth it!

Thanks for all the help!
