Hey guys has I was hooking up a new gauge I was testing some circuits I have a 01 200 merc efi and I was using purple as my i wire when I touched the purple to any positive with the test light to my surprise it lit very dim though and I heard the fuel pump come on I tracked the wire and the detonation module is the source unplug it and dim light goes away to my knowledge anytime u get a light from the test light u have got to have a + and - I'm thinking module is bad maybe something is grounding out inside can anyone shed some light
