So I picked up my new prop and the tips hit the anode by about a 1/2 inch.Im going to grind it down for now.Needs replacing anyway. How much does the prop flex and how much clearance should I leave between prop and anode so when Im cruising theres no chance of hitting it?

or, of course you could put a flat anode on.... I had the same problem, ground one down for clearance, then put a 4 blade on with a flat anode, noticed zero problem steering.

Cutting a notch out works fine. No need to replace with a flat one. And like Bondo said, you might need it.
