Last minute trip to correct a platform elevator in a customer vessel in Abu Dhabi

they have sea trials this weekend, and I couldnt get a technician there, so emergency last minute flight

sun is just starting to rise here

Spent a couple of years out there with Abu Dhabi Helicopters back in the '70s.

Spent 6 months there in 95 with an air refueling squadron when I was in the Air Force. Met lots of really cool people, and saw lots of sand. The beach was cool though. So was Dubai.

Have a safe time there and back.

I think you just made a wrong turn on the way to work. :lol: Sounds like you're one going BOATING in a big way. Not too many of our boats have elevators. :smile:

I work for a company that makes cranes, davits, transom lifts and boarding equipment for yachts and commercial vessels. getting into aft doors, side terraces, as well as a few odd things for the oil industry.

Most of the boats on this site are tenders for the big stuff.

My nephew went to college with a prince from there ... He made trips home with him. Said it was a cool place. Have some friends living there, but never been myself. Many of the wealthier Ghanaians go there on shopping sprees. Have fun at work!

holy carp are there bad drivers over here.

94 F (34C) outside and about 9000F sitting between two large diesel engines with a laptop connected to a controller

have a massive dehydration headache right now.

My God. Some of the best nights out I've had in the UAE have been in AD. Not as wild as some Dubai nightspots but you can have a good time.

all I found was turkey bacon..... and chicken sausage. I understand the lack of pork products, however do not attempt imitation pork products then.
