I'm thinking of trying some Green Bay walleye fishing but don't know where to start. I live about in the middle N and S. Near Oconto. I have I think most of the gear although it might be larger than needed. I salmon fish a lot. I have lots of rod holders and a merc prokicker so I think I can go slow enough. I have a couple of church boards plus several other types of planer boards.
What I'm looking for is info about where and how to get started. Location, speed, depth, lure selection, etc. Just some basic information that will give me a chance at success. I figure with a little luck to start I can build on that and have some fun. I'm not a "meat" fisherman so I won't be depleting your fish. If the fish are uninjured and look healthy enough to survive I'll release them.
Thanks for any info.
