it does look like a cool project and considering the age its in good shape..........albeit it looks like it spent some time in a field it looks like it spent quite a bit of time in a barn.

i didnt notice a price.

my wife used to work in a convenient store where some old car enthusiasts had their mornin coffee a few days of the week.
i told her one day when they were there and she wasnt busy to go and ask them if they could help her (well me) find a 32-34 ford car or truck ..CHEAP...........she was ready to scratch my eyes out..........she said they laughed for about 15mins...and for weeks after they teased her about it......i got a good laugh too, except i had to hide to laugh :D:D:D.
i would have thought as much as she has been around cars, not to mention hangin with me and the guys while talkin old cars, that she would have known i set her up :D:D

Forgive my ignorance (I mess with classic boat motors, not cars). But didn't Ford make a vehicle in 32 - 4? Or was the 'cheap' part the prank? I can see setting somebody up to find my a 1905 Evinrude :D;), but that goes without saying (prank I mean). I am not following yours.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While the price seems a little high, it looks (from what I can see in only one photo) like it's fairly complete. That car looks very restorable. The key is to have all the little dodads the sheet metal is easy to replicate on a vehicle of that vintage if you have something to go by. he trim and the knobs are the hard part.

I just did some quick checking. That car sold new for around $1,600. It's value fully restored is +/- $20,000. Engine is most likly 52hp 6cly but could be a whoping 70hp 6cly. It may pull your 18 footer. :)

You restore them for love not for money.

The joke is that there aren't any 32-34 (heck all the way through the late 50's) Fords cheap! My fave is the 40-41 fords..man..

I had a similar rusty 1941 GMC 1/2 delivery van that was gonna be all restored...funny what you think you can do at 13! Yes, I sold it after sitting for 4 years in almost the same condition I bought it!

yeah the last 32 i ran across wasnt in half the condition that old nash was in..................it was baaaad, rust holes everywhere not to mention stuff missing..............and they wanted 10k for it :eek:

she had a half smile when she saw that i had posted what i did to her.........its been a few years so shes not real mad about it anymore :D

my attentions are now on boats and arent likely to change.......it seems they are cheaper and a lil more abundant than old cars.......

the best part about oklahoma is anyone who has a small set of tools thinks they are a mech.........you can buy some of the stuff cheap, especially boats and obs, because they take it apart or do some wrong adjusting and cant get it to work again........for instance i gave $400 for a 1979 16' venture bass boat with a 1979 115 johnson.. and good trailer :D .........all i did was put the lu (which came with the boat) back on , cleaned/rebuilt the carbs ,new wp ,and did a link-n-sync .............oh and had to remove numerous dirt dobbers

It's in pretty good shape for what it is. The trouble with taking on an old Nash as a restoration project is that there's nobody making repro parts for it, and not that much interested in that brand. It'll make finding needed parts a real hassle.

Now, if a guy wanted to make a rod out of it, he could replace the whole drivetrain and have something fun. The body looks restorable. Me? I'd put a mid-50's GM drivetrain in it, complete with a 235 6. It'd be a little more period that way.

No, the add specifically states that the engine fires landau.

This is very powerful, seeing that Landau is a city in Germany and the car is in South St Paul (Minesotta, I presume).
