Shark Sightings Rattle Nerves Along Cape Cod Coast - ABC News
Years and years ago, shark sightings around Cape Cod seemed to be rare. . . but now we are getting an annual pilgrimage of sharks, mostly to the Chatham & outer Cape area, where there are seal populations.
IIRC, scientists have tagged and tracked the sharks over the past few years, and some have gone as far south as Florida and the Gulf of Mexico and then returned the next year.
