Sometimes a company deserves to get credit.
Must give a little back round on this.
I bought my first bamix in 1985. Have never owned a egg
beater or blender/mixer since. It gets used almost every day.
In 98 our great danes tail knocked it into a sink of water
while plugged in. :| It died a quick death.
So we bought a new one a couple weeks later at the western
Wa fair. In 13 years the price went from 99.00 to 199.00
In 2007 the price is still 199.00
The company as always claimed a 10 year no questions
asked fix it for free.
My new 1998 had three things wrong/broke.
The bottom case broke in 2000
The "o" ring wore out 4 months ago.
I broke the upper case while cleaning it to send to them.
In the letter requesting repair I said to just bill me for the upper
case and O ring. I don't expect things to last forever and I
broke the upper case a little over a week ago.
We mailed it off last Monday and got it back 8 days later this
Tuesday. Now that is fast!
All at no charge!
Here is the repair invoice
Here is what they look like.
Don't know anything about his company but if you want to
read about them you can here.
