Ok, iboats needs a mobile version of the site. Just shopping and the forums! Its possible to use the site with the proper phone ( I am on my blackberry now) but its not formatted for it! I don't know about you guys but I am not always around a computer when I really need a question answered. I bet it would help with troubleshooting. Not to leave out that it could provide a great way to meet up with members out on the water for fun or help!



How freaking cool would that be?

On my old Blackberry Pearl it was very difficult to navigate the site, but I could read, etc.

On my new Blackberry Bold 9700 (Bold 2 I think they call it), the screen is larger than the Pearl, and it's a newer browser. The zooming took some getting used to, but the site is much more readable and I even post occasionally from it.

The only think I would like in a mobile site is to streamline the adds, etc. But I'm not going to complain too much. This is a great site!

Oh and your comment on troubleshooting - the last time I had boat trouble was at my Dad's place on lake front. My boat was moored in the water. I was literally back and forth from the deck where my laptop was to the boat, posting on different forums (Moomba forums for stuff specific to my make, and here to make sure I was covering all the bases troubleshooting). Could have done it all on my phone, but my Dad has wifi and internet so...

I have a bold to. I had a storm that wast to bad to post from but my contract just Ended and I decided to try something new. Its not to bad considering you have the signal to load every thing but if iboats was mobile it would be a lot faster and easyer to navigate. The best thing would to be able to meet up with people. I love to wakeboard but it can be hard to get a third person out to spot. My kids are to young to be legal spotters in ohio waters. So that can dash plans to do any water sports.

we just got a new server, just for the forum, in the last year. as said, you need a good signal. just think, some of us are still just using desktops, not even laptops. suggest a seatow membership.

I have a Iphone 4 and it is a breeze to navigate and operate the site from my phone. But a mobile version of the site would be cool.

Another vote for the mobile version here. I have a lot of downtime on my job and a mobile app for the forums would be just what the funeral director ordered.

This site is awesome as it is though.
