<br /><br />Mid to high 90's in decibel ratings at WOT. <br /><br />That is unacceptable. The NMMA should put standards in place for noise levels.<br /><br />My boat is high 80's at WOT and I'm looking to put in additional soundproofing. I can't imagine a 98 decibel family bowrider -- oh, and by-the-way, JR., you get to sit beside the engine cowling.<br /><br />OSHA wouldn't let a worker be subject to 98 decibels, why does the boating industry let us do it for pleasure?
