I am refinishing a 1960 Lonestar boat. It needs a lot of glass work. I have worked on surfboards for most of my life. But I only knew what I had been taught by my friends and from my experiences.
I decided to get some books on fiberglass and boat repair. I just finished one by Roger Marshall. The book is called "Fiberglass Boat Repairs Illustrated." Roger walks you through any kind of boar repair imaginable. He starts with how fiberglass boats are maid. Then goes on to projects that he has worked on for himself and his kids. The repair topics range from minor repairs to fixing a boat that has gone ashore. or replacing a rotten deck.
I recommend this book to anyone who has general knowledge of fiberglass and would like to feel much more confident with the work they perform. This book is avalible through iboats and the link is pasted below.
