hi guys,I dont know much about trailers so when i got my 80 something Shorlander I had a local trailer place put new hubs on it.I dont trailer much and I grease the heck out of the bearing buddies before and after I trailer and the only problem i can see is that grease seems to sling out of the rear of one of the hubs.It must be the rear because I also put plastic covers on the bearing buddies so none can sling from the front.Do I have a problem????Charlie

Yes. Too much is better than not enough. A lot better.

When you grease them, watch the spring in the BB. When it is compressed, stop.

That inner seal ( at least) has to be replaced. If grease gets out, the water can get in.

Howdy Crazy Charlie. You can do an internet search by typing in "bearing buddies" and you will find sites will give lots of information about their benefits, how to add grease, and what not to do so you don't damage the inner seal, which, as others have noted, is what you've done. You can also do a search at this web-site for b.b. and find good old fashion blue collar advise. (Usually the best kind.) DuPont

Do what the others said but I had a trailer that must have had damaged/worn spindles because no matter how many times I replaced the seals they would not hold.
