Gps/compass

I have a 18' Gregor sea hawk/with small center console my is 2"away from compass and it makes compass go way off I don't have any more room to move gps even with power off it throws it off

Marine devices output Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) that can cause inaccurate readings on nearby compasses. The safe distance for the Compass should be identified in your GPS manual.

If you have a (good) compass with adequate compensation abilities you may have a chance. Otherwise, there is nothing you can do about it.

Thank you for the reply I would try to move the compass but the top of cc is stainless steel and i don't have a way to cut a nice hole

Toss either the compass or GPS on a ram mount to move it up/over. This assumes you have some sort of hard top on your boat.
