GP760 oil pump

I recently bought Yamaha GP760, ski is in great condition but i'am not sure in oil pump.Can somebody tell me how to chek is it working?

I don't like oil pumps - so I usually recommend just buying an oil-pump block-off kit from a Hot Products dealer and then premix your own fuel.

on yamaha the pump isn't usually an issue but the oil lines will fall off in a heart beat and destroy the engine, so be sure they are in good shape and not loose

remove the 2 screws on the flywheel cover - pull off the pump.

place the block-off plate and attach it with 2 screws

remove the oil lines going into the carb and cap the fitting with a plug (should come with the kit)

purge all non-mixed fuel from the fuel supply lines because it will not have oil in it:
