I had my 760 out a few weekends ago when it just stopped. It would not crank anymore.

I brought it home to work on it and I pulled the cylinders off as the shaft would not turn.

I found that the front rod is frozen on the crank. The crank seems to move ok and the cylinders and pistons look OK as well. The front piston looks like there is some scratcing on the piston, but the walls of the cylindes seem to be smooth and free of scrathces or gouges.

I am assuming that my carb leaned out or that it got water in there. Last year it sunk to the floatation due to a hole in the bottom (long story). I cannot overrule an overheat, but there is no restrictions in the cooling hoses.

What are my options other than a complete rebuild??

Thanks..
