Got me a couple of nice fatties

Indian summer rolled through last week so I took advantage of it and went fishing instead of going to work. Took wed, thurs, and friday off work, the 3 warmest days of the week, temp in the upper 60's. Caught this 22 incher on wednesday.

On Thursday, caught 4 keepers, just 14-15" variety, and snagged a carp with a crank bait no less then 20 lbs. All 5 fish were in an area about 150 square feet.

On Friday, caught this 21 incher at the same spot I had caught the 22 incher 2 days before.

The pics quality kinda s..ks because they were all took with my phone. I also have video of them too which are better quality but I have to converts them from 3gp format to mpeg before I can post them.

Ron, I caught them on 3" tube, fresh road kill color made by Hook up baits Co. I believes you can gets those in store down in your neck of the wood. I had to ordered them directly from the company, they don't stock them in store up here. The water temps were 48 and got up to 50 friday afternoon.

Thanks for the info!ive got a big to me tourny this weekend and just tring to get a feel for different baits in the water temp.range.never even heard of those baitsi'll look it up and see im thinking its going to be a tube or little jig bite to get any weight this weekend,but it alot depeands on the weather.thanks again and those are some dandys.

No, it was Summit lake.......don't you going around telling everybody now 8) It's a real gem that not a lots of guys know about. We already got a bunch of them Ohio boys coming over lately, last thing we need is everyone from southern IN coming up here.8)

Sorry, been gone. Don't worry about us Southern rednecks coming up there. It's too darn cold. Besides, rabbit season is in and there is one more week of deer season.
