nice solid reliable boats. They haven't been out long, so its rare to find one used. The people that have them are hanging on to them! Mileage is about the same (or sometimes slightly better) as a conventional bowrider of the same size propped to get the same top speed.

(i've owned a bunch of prop boats, as well as 5 jet powered boats... Currently have 1 pontoon with a prop, 1 jet boat, and 2 pwc's. I'd have a hard time to go back to a conventional prop boat, at least for my needs.

I had a sea doo 14ft speedster with twin 85's. It was a ton of fun! Great for sport boating. Yanking multiple tubes and skiers was effortless. The only issue I had with it was that if beeched, it would leak a bit through rub rail at the stern. I got a couple rife in a comparible Yamaha boat and it was the same... Very fun!

I agree they are purdy. And Yami makes good stuff in the engine department. Other than that, haven't been on one so I can't add more.

They've caught my eye too. Definitely in my list if/when I'm in the market.

My buddy has a Yami and I have a Seadoo Sportster. Definetly a blast. They definetly have pros and cons as opposed to a prop boat but I love mine. 18' with 200HP. Fun time out on the water. I just wish I had more storage room. Once you get the tubes, the wakeboard, the skis, and the kneeboard on board, it can get a little hectic. Usually we dont take everything with us but it sure would be nice to. I have the ski locker and the compartment above the motor can hold alot, but I wish it had some underseat storage.
