Got a raise!

Had my annual performance review 10/1, was quite nice, but I was told Corp. said we have a salary freeze until further notice. I told the Plant Manager I was happy to have a jobconsidering the local economy. Blew me away when she called emailed me that CEO gave me 4% anyway. Wisdom, 25 years ago I would have pouted for days.

congrats its always nice to get some more money. I was topped out and the city just redid the entire pay plan. it turns out ok for people that have been there a while but new hires can only start at the bottom and go up 1 step at a time now. turns out i got a 4.4% raise last week with 2.4% retroactive to july 1. and i'm due for review next month poss 3% more
