I tore the UPC sticker off one of my casting rods and it was just below the thumb rest on the reel. Now I have sticky goop that I just cant get off.Well i does come off but only onto my hand. I am afraid to use any harsh stuff because I don't want to screw up the cork. Any Ideas.

Home Depot, Lowes, or even a local hardware store should have a product called "GOOF OFF."<br /><br /> It works great and will be safe on your cork. I use it everyday when cleaning ink markings off new eyeglass lenses in my optical shop.<br /><br />Kevin

GOO GONE is better. Its citrus based. It has worked on several things that goof off couldn't touch. It takes old decals off boats too.

Another vote for Goo Gone. It will take any sticky label stuff off. It is great stuff.
