I was given a sweet outboard motor that fires right up after some work. I need help aging the motor and determining some basic maintenance fuctions. the Model # 025-3563 & Serial# 205990. Is there any chance of finding a owners manual? WHo is actual manufacturer? I need to change gear oil, how?

Your motor is a 48/49 Built by the Gale devision of OMC.
You might find a manual at www.kencook.com
It would share parts with some of the many other private label motors built by Gale.
