Good vs. Better service manual for recent find.

A buddy & I picked up a used '95 Johnson 90 over this weekend (J90TLOER). My only experience is with the Seloc books for much older Seahorse-115's and they of course don't cover this model. Also, the previous owner said he had a marine mechanic disable the VRO.. and there are a few loose wires which are apparently left over from that decision. --- In any case, it's definitely time to order a proper manual for it anyway.

Does anyone have an opinion or recommendation regarding service manuals? In other words, would a Johnson manual be preferred over a Seloc ? -- and if so why?

Thanks
charlie

seloc and clymer manuals have a lot of wrong information. I would not use them except for knee pads. nothing compares to a factory manual.

why not simily use the online manual http://boatinfo.no/lib/library.html
