Good Start to the Weekend

Son and I, did some shore jigging, this evening. He took the first fish, 34.5", 10.8lb Muskie. Good thing we brought the net, some exciting moments as it made some runs up the nearby culvert! Also caught five walleyes, 15-19". A good start. Will be out in the boat, tommarrow afternoon. Hope everyone has a good weekend. <br /><br />PS: Pictures to follow, when they are developed.

Saturday:<br />Fished: 3PM to dark<br />Wind: calm<br />Weather: Sunny<br />Water Temp: 51F<br />Fished depths 12-22'<br />Caught 12 - 15-19" Walleyes, + dozen dinks<br />one 16" smallie<br />one small muskie<br /><br />Sunday:<br />Fished: 10AM to 2:30PM<br />Wind: light breeze<br />Weather: Cloudy<br />Water Temp: 50F<br />Fished depths 12-22'<br />Caught 6 - 15-17" Walleyes, + 7 dinks<br /><br />All released to be caught another day. Overall a good fall weekend.

Good report - how'd you work it with your wife to fish every weekend? This was my "honey-do" weekend.<br /><br />C'mon guys, I know there are more fishermen on this board. Let us hear it even if you got skunked!

Me and my 5 year old boy went to a lake in the Pecos Mountains, NM. He caught 2 12 inch rainbow trout on power bait. It is so much fun to see his little pole start "rockin'" with a trout on the end of it. I caught 2 smaller rainbows. Good to see that the boy outfished his "oldman".

jtexas,<br />Trustme, I was hearing about it, by Sunday! Stopped early on Sunday, to come home for some quality time. OK, we ran out of minnies! Nothing planned for next weekend, but the following weekend is a small local contest, with bragging rights, on the line!<br /><br />MY,<br />Yes it was. Nice and fat to get through the winter.<br /><br />Mtboy,<br />His personel best, has me beat in Muskie, Largemouth, and Walleye. I hope to hang on in Northerns, pickerel, smallies, and trout. But, it is only a matter of time, and the more of it spent fishing, the better!
