Good places to look for used outboard??

Looking for a good 70 to 100 hp outboard. Is the dealer a good place to start?? Or is it like everything else....OVERCHARGE??? Anytips to look for, as suggestied looking for a early to mid 80's. Thanks for all replies!! Brad

Click on Boat Motors, above.<br /><br />Because posting of info about competitors is not welcome here, I hope I don't need to come back and delete well-meaning suggestions.<br /><br />If you have the opportunity to test, on the water, and know what to look for, you might find a good deal from a private owner, but that involves risk, and no warranty.<br /><br />Good luck.
