Does anyone have a good source for accessories for my Zodiac Futura? I'm looking for things like optional seats, nav lights, foot pump, etc... I lucked out and found a pair of speed tubes for my MK II C at Mike's Marina in Michigan. I've scoured the net and can't seem to find a good source.

I haven't even found much for inflatables altogether. Most places just have one of these and one of those. Very sad selection. That's probably why there is so much custom work done on inflatables.

It is also one of the reasons that inflatables/RIBs get no street cred or resale. There are a few online places. I also find some items from Boats US and West Marine. In the 80s when I bought my Novurania in Houston there was an inflatable boat/dive shop. They did repairs, rigging, sold parts and custom work. I am sure they are gone now. There was a similar shop in Fort Lauderdale near the old Pier 66 luxury hotel. Are there inflatable marine centers in Europe etc like we have for hard hulls here?

Here are the official Zodiac accessories available for each boat. Find what you want, then use their dealer finder.

I wish there were a lot more accessories. I'm finding that there is a decent amount of stuff out there if you are creative. Some things which work well have actually been made for other boats and power sports equipment.

Nope, not really.Chandlers just stock more bits that we need. We've got most of the major manufacturers right here though so we just go straight to them if we want stuff-or deal direct with manufacturers for consoles etc.

There are a good few specialist tube builders here though.

When Metzler (German) and Semperit (Austria) sold out to the big "mega conglomerates", the service centers all closed in Germany.

I know of only one shop here that does this anymore, and they get support from the Military.

Now the only boats available here, are the Korean and Chinese made boats with the old famous Brand Names. These are mostly sold as tenders, and are really cheaply made plastic boats. They cost the same as the old ones out of Hypalon though.

The old story of, eat the competition, then drop the quality, kill the service, and increase the price.

The only surviving marina here, still sells inflatable brand name boats, but offers no service what so ever. You can't even get a little patch kit from them anymore. They act like they are disposable lighters or something now. You are supposed to use it till it breaks, and then buy a new one from them.
